The Difference Between Galvanized Steel Pipe and Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Pipe

Ⅰ. Different principles of galvanized steel pipe and hot-dip galvanized steel pipe

1. Galvanized steel pipe:

In order to improve the corrosion resistance of the steel pipe, the ordinary steel pipe is galvanized.

2. Hot-dip galvanized steel pipe:

Hot-dip galvanized steel pipe makes the molten metal react with the iron matrix to produce an alloy layer, so that the matrix and the coating are combined.

Ⅱ. Different characteristics of hot galvanized steel pipe and hot-dip galvanized steel pipe

1. Galvanized steel pipe:

The surface of the galvanized steel pipe should have a complete galvanized layer, and there must be no unplated black spots and bubbles, and small rough surfaces and local zinc tumors are allowed.

2. Hot-dip galvanized steel pipe:

The uniformity of the galvanized layer, the steel pipe sample shall not turn red (copper-plated) after being immersed in copper sulfate solution for 5 times.

Ⅲ. Different uses of hot galvanized steel pipe and hot-dip galvanized steel pipe

1. Galvanized steel pipes:

The iron pipes used for gas, greenhouses and heating are also galvanized steel pipe uses. Galvanized pipes are used as water pipes. A large amount of rust is generated in the pipes. The yellow water that flows out not only pollutes sanitary ware, but also contains uneven inner walls. The growing bacteria and rust cause high levels of heavy metals in the water, which seriously endanger human health.

2. Hot-dip galvanized steel pipe:

Widely used in agricultural greenhouses, fire fighting, gas, water supply and drainage and other fields.
