How to Avoid Purchasing Inferior Galvanized Pipe Products

In steel bar profile industry, galvanized pipes are popular and loved by everyone, but when we purchase galvanized pipes, we must master some skills to identify the pros and demerits of products, so as to help us choose high quality steel.

1. Inferior galvanized pipe is easy to be scratched

The reason is that the sites and equipment of inferior galvanized pipe suppliers are simple, and burrs are easy to occur to scratch the steel surface. Deep scratches weaken the steel.

2. Inferior galvanized pipe is without metallic luster

The inferior galvanized pipe is reddish or similar to the color of pig iron.

3. The transverse bars of inferior galvanized pipe are thin and low

Inadequate filling often occurs, because in order to achieve a large negative tolerance, the pressure of the first few lines of the finished product is too large, the iron mold is too small, and hole is not filled fully.

4. The cross section of inferior galvanized pipe is oval

The reason is that in order to save materials, the pressure of the first two lines of the finished roll is too large. The strength of this pipe is greatly reduced, and it does not meet the standard of the shape size of the steel pipe.

5. The composition of inferior galvanized pipe is uniform

The tonnage of the cold shearing machine is high, the end face of the cutting head is smooth and neat, and the shoddy galvanized pipe often loses flesh due to the poor material, that is, uneven galvanized pipe with no metallic luster is produced. Because shoddy galvanized pipe manufacturers cut the head less, big handles will occur in the head and tail of the pipe.

6. Inferior galvanized pipe material contains more impurities

The density of steel is small, and the size is out of tolerance, so in the case of no vernier caliper, it can be weighed and checked. In general, the effect of integral weighing will be better, because it mainly considers the problem of cumulative error and probability theory.
