ERW pipe means electric resistance welded pipe, and it is a resistance welding by 10-500 kHz of high-frequency current.
The raw material of the ERW steel pipe is hot rolled steel coil made of steel billet, and the usual material is Q195, Q215, Q235, Q355 in China ERW pipe grade, which are same material with S195, S235, S355 in Europe, and SS400 in Japan. ERW steel pipe suppliers will cut the steel coil into strips first, the strip width is according to the perimeter of the pipes and then shaped by mold, welding, cutting, straightening, inspecting, end smoothing, packing, and final storage or dispatch.
The pipes are used widely in construction and infrastructure, such as scaffolding, water and gas delivery, fire control system, oil and heat delivery, and other low-pressure liquid delivery. Generally, the length of pipes produced by the erw steel pipes manufacturers is 6m, which can be determined according to the requirements of the buyer.
